We want “your” wealth… NOW!

"Redistribution of wealth." How is that going to be decided as to who gets what? For example if "redistribution of wealth" happens and I use the share to out run everybody and I end up with a much larger portion, would that mean that somebody could come along and just take it away? Not trying to be a smart arse here, I want to understand what "redistribution of the wealth" really means, because history has shown human nature to always shine thru. I have said it before, I say again. Read Animal Farm and understand the lessons from the book.

So if I said I had a million dollars would I be viewed as a bad person? Would I not be allowed to control the million dollars?

How about this logic… I have a hundred dollars you have nothing, to be fair I should give you fifty. OK, now I turn a corner I have fifty dollars. Next person has none. To be fair I give the next person twenty five dollars. I turn a corner… See where this is going?

So when I am faced with having none. Am I to expect somebody to walk along and hand me fifty dollars as I did a few people ago? Would they admit to having the hundred dollars in the first place? Perhaps in a perfect world. I suspect that human nature overrides everything in the world we reside in. Again I ask what is the logic and reasons behind the term “redistribution of wealth”? Sounds like envy to me. Not much respect for those who envy.

However if you’re truly a firm believer in this notion please feel sorry for me and contact me privately so we can exchange information. Then you can distribute your earnings to me. I will feel better taking away your guilty feelings of having wealth. I promise I will use it for a worthy cause.

Furthermore… If the logic is currently that the banks that are the subject of attacks due to their vast wealth, why is nobody targeting the churches? They’re tax exempt? The logic of busting the banks windows because they represent wealth leads one to conclude that the churches of this nation are next, does it not? (Pay heed to the lessons of 1930’s Germany. Pay heed to the lessons of Soviet Russia)

The churches own property they discriminate as to who they are going to help. Why are the churches of this nation not a target of property damage? When are the hooded masked radicals going to start attacking the institution know as religion? Don’t think it can happen? Don’t think it will happen? Read your history. Read about revolutions and/ or political takeovers and look at the patterns thru out history.

Today’s hooded masked vandals are tomorrows so called grown ups. They want your wealth, and they want it now. They seem to have no problem making that point clear. Beware young revolutionaries beware of the children you are teaching, they one day will most likely turn on you. It’s simply in their nature.

No sorry for what I said.

*WARNING* The following might offend some. The following is going to speak in simple terms. If you are offended by strait forward language you may want to avert your eyes. To the following…

                          **********************************

Gentlemen you were not brought into this world thru a penis. Quite the contrary. A penis was only part of the delivery system. It was a vagina on the receiving end of said penis that brought you here.

In other words a women received from a man, a sperm that fertilized the egg. The man then simply waited around for many months to see the result of his limited effort. Limited is the best way to describe it.

After the donation of the sperm many / most men did/ do very little. The woman now has the task of carrying the fertilized egg to term so that birth would happen. -Please note that the woman is taking on the task gentleman- “you” men have nothing further to do physically. Gentleman just go back to your day to day. Oh and don’t you worry your pretty little heads…

That being said… If you men who berate and belittle the women in your life seem to forget who the stronger of the sexes is, then perhaps, the truth is too much for your fragile male egos to handle. An interesting fact that most misogynistic, chauvinistic men conveniently forget. No penis ever gave birth to a baby never. A vagina brought you into this world.

I make no apologies for any of the above.

Look behind the curtain.

“It is enough that the people know there was an election. The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide …”
~Joseph Stalin

I’ve watched many a things over the few/many decades on this rock. I have decided that, for me, politicians are not worthy of any attention. I don’t care what side of the aisle they say they are from. It is of no actual relevance. Why? One might ask…

For the most part, at all levels, politicians are a bunch of micro-managing pains in the arse to somebody not of the majority. (Whatever the “majority” means anymore.) Politicians are a perfect example of human meddling. Humans that have control issues, looking to control others. That is truly their agenda; to control you. (AND it is working.) Vote for them or not, they will intrude into your life and tell you that you need to be lead.

“Don’t vote, it just encourages the bastards.” ~PJ O’Rourke.

Incumbents, newly-elected, it makes no difference. They are about imposing their point of views, their beliefs on you. Politicians are the ultimate example of the Peter Principal. They rise to their level of incompetence.

I have watched the incompetent get promoted with regularity; it’s everywhere. They suffer from delusions of grandeur and mostly are a large fraternity of narcissists. Is that who you want “leading” ??? I can only conclude that yes, you do. You keep voting for them.

If common sense prevailed, would we have to keep the perpetual  “Forever Argument” ~CJH , going? I don’t think so. Of course, I am just one voice. A voice that questions mediocrity whenever it shows itself. Politicians fit the description. They don’t impress me. Maybe it is, in part, the unsettling prospect to watch those behind you in years, or your peers, rise to seats of power and then act like the children you most remember them being. Children and their tantrums when they don’t get their way. I am done participating in a two party system that has the game rigged for no third party or fourth, fifth etc. etc. etc.

I’m done listening to the whiners about “fair share” until they look at all facets of society. For example, the churches of the this nation no longer deserve, nor should be allowed tax exemption. What makes them exempt? Why should any organization be exempt? They take in income, people profit and don’t pay a tax? Why? Why are people not screaming about that with the same vim and vigor they scream about wealthy people hiding behind tax laws that the politicians keep in place? Again, some politicians’ agenda was crammed down the throats of the voter like it or not. Recall PJ O’Rourke?

It’s all a game and I’m not impressed with the participants.

Sincerely…

Life just is.

Life just is. When asked my opinion about my belief in an afterlife, I thought about it, off and on as years went by. When recently asked, I responded as follows…

I find the notion interesting. The notion being that there is a before life then an afterlife. In my mind, that limits, restrains the moment at hand. The moment that for some, lasts a hundred-plus roman calendar years; for some.

So to say there was nothing before the birthing and that it is some sort of great void that is only allowed a half century give or take either way seems short-sighted to me. I have no actual “living” proof of my theory. Of course, few do. I suspect that those who might have proof are rather tight-lipped about it. Nonetheless, I dismiss the arrogance that “this” is it.

I do, however, welcome the notion that this is merely a stopping-off point to be shared with those among us. That includes everyone. Everyone that is in this current dimension; this carbon-based dimension we are in. We share our existence whether we know it or not. That includes the burnt toast I smelled early in the morning wafting through the air. Somebody sharing their carbon overkill. From mass murders to the saints, as I see it, we all are simply on a layover.

To those of you who might be reading this, a layover at times is akin to a six hour stop at a dull, quiet, small airport. How we deal with the layover changes from day to day. People come and go. Rather than being bored and grumbling about the flight connection, look for another one who is in the same place you are. Take this example to every facet of existence. Granted, at times it is easy to get distracted and difficult to practice this overwhelming example of acceptance. We are human. That means we have the option to get out of focus when we least expect it.

I once spent six hours at the Phoenix AZ airport waiting for the next flight out because the one I was booked on was cancelled for undisclosed reasons. (A flight I stressed and worried about not making due to one procrastination coupled with one distraction after another that had me frantic about missing the flight. Which, in the end, I did despite being on time to the gate.) While I was going somewhat bonkers internally, it dawned on me that if I could maintain an external carefree appearance, then I could most certainly attempt it internally.

Oddly enough, it worked. I proceeded to take note of those who appeared to be on their own, approached them and bantered back and forth about the frustrations caused by a cancelled flight. They seemed to feel better knowing they were not alone. As did I.

In the end, the effect was interesting to observe it was much like the pebble in the pond. The ripples of chatter expanded. So a group of frustrated, annoyed travelers shifted, in about an hour, into jokes being told about the airlines, about traveling salesmen…Oh yes! Some very ripe ones indeed. As we boarded the airplane people were not nearly as uptight at the flight crew. The crew had a look of bewilderment. I am certain they expected a full plane of gloomy, grumpy travelers. The flight was quick and painless.

Now where was I??? Oh yes, yes…We share this existence; we share it in every way!

The idea that we make no difference in those lives around us is balderdash. Absolute rubbish. To think this is “It” is setting ones’ sights far too low. At least I think so.

Once I got that idea out of my head (and heart if you will allow me to be so forward) I found that the idea of an ending not nearly as concerning. One persons’ end is another persons’ beginning.

There is no ending, there is just life. I say again! There is no ending, there is just life. It goes on and on. This notion that it ends is simple arrogance to me. The arrogance of the fearful, if you ask me. Currently, it is of a third dimension based on carbon. (Mostly third dimension…) Life goes on. It always has and it always will.

Never forget your past. Never fear the future. Revel in the moment as if it is the last because, ten seconds from now, it’s over and not embracing it is simply a shame.

I am very grateful for one of the many gifts I was given…the gift is curiosity. Without it, I would be so bored.

Listen

While at a social gathering I was privileged to witness a rather humorous scene. It goes as follows…

A very slender stunning woman was leaning against a counter with all sorts of beverage options. She had been there only a short while. A young man walked in and noticed her right away. Yet with a bit of cool waited before making his approach. Not too long mind you, but he did approach the young woman and leaned up against the counter and introduced himself. She smiled and gave her name. The usual small talk was being exchanged. Then as things seemed alright he asked what she did? The woman responded with, “I have little patients…” The young man got visibly miffed. He interrupted her and said, “Hey I was just asking if you don’t want to talk with me that’s fine no need to get uppity with me.” The woman smiled and responded, “I’m a pediatrician.” The young man said “whatever” and left.

Ah, yet another lesson in the art of listening.
