It is when I get to see the recognition of somebody’s grateful grin to my being there to hold a door or to lift them up when they are down… That I find out that my being here, is not about me. It is about being there for them. This existence is hardly one of only self. It is about… Taking the moment to lend a hand. The smallest act of kindness can obliterate the hatred offered from others.
